According to a story attributed to the NDC MP for Asunafo South district, the NPP plagiarized the NDC’s 2016 budget. In his statement " Paragraph 273 of the 2017 budget says principally that the government has allocated GH¢2.04 million for the procurement of five million improved coffee planting seedlings for free distribution to coffee farmers while in the 2016 budget, paragraph 405 also talked about government allocating GH¢2.0 million for the procurement of two million improved coffee planting seedlings for free distribution to coffee farmers."
Now divide NPP's GHC2.04 Million by 5 million seedlings and the answer is GHC 0.40 per coffee seedling. Then divide NDC's GHC 2,0 Million by 2 Million seedlings and the answer is GHC 1.00 per coffee seedling. Now the question is, Who is stealing from who. I don't really know the university that trained these NDC guys. Universities in Ghana are indeed useless.

This, I believe, will go to prove to the doubting Thomases that indeed, some officials of the previous administration have stolen vehicles belonging to the state

There should never be any hullabaloo about the size of this government except that the NDC criminals are jittery about the prospect of success of the Nana's government. Governments have priorities and that should reflect their goals. For instance, as soon the NDC was sworn into office in 2009 they quickly engaged themselves in collecting kickbacks by dolling out huge sums of money to their cronies in the lieu of settling judgment debts. And that's continued though out their 8 years in office, they borrowed so much money and invested in some sort of shady and unecessary infrastructure building through which they siphoned billions of cedis in kickbacks and sole sourcing bribery collections. Nana's government has promised to do a lot of oversights and have started by sending the various ministers to tour their prospective ministries, they have assured Ghanaians that they intend to protect the public purse. Definitely they (ministers)need to be present in the day to day activities of their various ministries but not only to sit down and issue directives , at the same time their deputies should also be present at other functions or the vice versa. Somebody had a smaller government but stole so much money, just consider the amount of money that went through SADA, SUBA, AMERIDEAL, WAYOMI GATE, OPUNI GATE, AKUA DONKOR GATE, and countless number of scandals that took place under the criminal NDC government and amount of money that went through the drain. Now these same criminals are crying foul about only 20 million cedis that will be used to pay for the services of these ministers.
