  As much as the submissions made are partly true the case of bias against African leaders must not be swept under the carpet. Our local legal systems may aso not be perfect, but that must not be capitalized on to offer selective justice. If the local system of Turkey were perfect why did they not deal with their problem and one leaders insistence on being in power led to the loss of several innocent lives? Don't let us be too bookish on this. As you raise arguments for quality local justice lets also raise arguments for the case of selective justice because it is a reality. God bless.

  I think the decision of African leaders threatening to leave the ICC is too defensive and totally unnecessary.The ICC deals mainly with issues and crimes which are atrocious and deemed inhumane to citizens of any state. If the domestic courts are compromised and are unable to deal with such atrocious crimes then they are referred to the ICC for redress and justice. The question is why would any leader be sent there in the first place? It is true that more focus is on African leaders. If anything at all it is in the interest of Africans that all its corruptible leaders are sorted out. If the leaders are 'pure' and genuine then they have nothing to fear. But any leader that encourages torture, piracy, genocide, war crimes terrorism and crimes against humanity must be prepared to face the music at the ICC. The ICC is in need of reform. They are not being fair to citizens from the Middle East, the Far East and S. America.
