  These greedy OMCs won't reduce the prices. They have been left to do whatever they like. What is the use for deregulation if the consumer can't benefit?? Why did the ndc rushed these so called deregulation though there were many unanswered questions?? It's obvious that, the deregulation was rushed to favour politicians ( both npp and ndc) who are into this business. !!!

  Stop your lies, okay? The commandos were a discipling branch of both the armed forces and the navy created to serve a purpose. In fact, they were recruited from the 64 battalion and when Kufuor mounted the office of the presidency he quickly put them back into the regular armed and navy forces where they belong and they are the same group producing the renowned Special Forces of date.   64 Battalion Now Part Of Regular Army. (General News of Thursday, 12 June 2003)

  Members of the erstwhile 64 Battalion of the Ghana Armed Forces have been integrated into the regular army with a clearly defined duty. The soldiers who, according to the Minister for Defence, did not have a clear task previously," now have a clearly defined role in the Ghana Armed Forces, adding that none of them have been sacked or fired from the Ghana Armed Forces.
  
  Dr Kwame Addo-Kufuor was refuting allegations by a questioner at the Meet-The-Press that members of the Battalion had been fired. He explained that it was not in the interest of the nation to put such a highly trained core of personnel on the streets.
