There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

Why did I not vote for Mahama?.
Simply, the suffering under Mahama was phenomenal. He will not simply listen to anybody. He had very closed and trusted group he strategized with hopping to win a second term at ALL COST. As a real floating voter, Mahama did not take the welfare of ordinary Ghanaians in coming out with policies and ACTIONS. Mahama and his advisors were isolated from the pervasive suffering of the people. So, let me sum by saying that, simply, the people punished Mahama for making them suffer.

Ndc thought they could steal from Ghanaians and then buy them with the stolen money. What was the ratio of cost of development projects to the amount of loans taken? The projects were no where to be found. The people of Ho, hohoe and many parts of the Volta region had to demonstrate over non-existing projects stated by the president stateof the nation address and the Greenbook. The bus branding and the Ford bribery as well as the Bugri Nabu bribery case were all fresh in the minds of Ghanaians when they stood by the booths to cast their votes. how could the government of Ndc award a 35 million to Woyome immediately before the elections when the same person has duped the state of a colossal amount of GHC51.2mln?
What about the economic hardships and the affluence and arrogance of government appointees?
The NDC depended on the wicked arrangement they had with the electoral commission to rig the elections. The Ndc was so sure of rigging the elections that Mahama pronounced a 60% win. Yarmin had the effrontery to bet his pick truck on a cell phone. He told Oheneba Kwabeana Asante that all their plans were in line and Mahama was going to win. Ndc know very well that they do not have the numbers. All their previous victories were rigged. Thanks for the vigilance of NPP their rigging machinery was circumvented. They couldn't believe it. But thanks to Anokye and his team the Electoral Commission was stopped from rigging the elections. Charlotte Osei was dazed. She was confused, and started saying there are cases of over voting in the Ashanti region. I want to ask Charlotte who reported of the over voting to the EC and when? What was the outcome of her investigations, we want to know. At which polling stations did the over voting take place?
Let Desoso and the NDC understand that the politics of ethnicity and tribalism of the NDC will no longer be endorsed by any Ghanaian. The NDC is a dead goat that will never come back to life. I know they are filthy rich as they stole from left, right and center. But money cannot buy the conscience of majority of Ghanaians.
They must think about the special prosecutor rather than winning any future elections.
It is left with he people of the Volta region to change their tribal mindset and vote on issues and NDC will be finished. The people from the Northern regions have shown that they are not tribalistic in their voting and this is a warning to the NDC to desist from tribal politics.

John Dramani Mahama was the worst incumbent Presidential candidate in over half a century of governance in this country.
