Illegal (small scale) mining is a menace. The impact of this is just devastating just imagine that whiles eating your fufu at at Tema or Koforidua ignorantly you could be taking food that has been contaminated by heavy metals as a result of this king of uncontrolled mining activities?
The situation is more serious that politicians make is believe, there is a serious threat even to the cocoa industries as traces of heavy metal is being found in cocoa.
the very livelihood oh the nation is threatened and the earlier the citizens take this up the better

How do you punish the offenders if you can't find them? That is what the drones can do. Reconnaissance drones can take excellent pictures and video of activities in an area, which can be used as evidence for prosecution.
