So what is it that is really eating these people. The other day someone wrote, this time saying Akans treat Ewes as slaves. How ridiculous. Akans are known to live in peace with everyone. Ewes moved voluntarily from to Akan lands for work, just as Akans have also deeply entrenched in our culture to travel to seek prosperity. Not one was captured and taken as a slave; some of you have been entrusted with large tracts of Akan lands upon which you have farmed and educated your children some of them overseas. When you harvest you keep the choicest part and send what you can to the land owner. Some of you have even made yourselves chiefs and sold lands entrusted to you. Despite most of our national resource coming from that region, it is behind in everything especially their roads.

What I have noticed about the Volta region is that, the Ewes prefer "to lead in anything that goes on in Ghana". Anything short of that is not acceptable to them. The aggrieved Voltarians cannot say in plain terms else they will repeat exactly what I have said; that they should be given the leading role in everything and anything else Ghanaians should forget it.

That will not and will never be accepted and those who wants to leave can go without an inch of land. Right now, the world is a small place and everybody has the right to renounce his/her citizenship and move to another country without questions being asked.

So, those accused have the right to leave our shores and move any country of their choice but to leave with a piece of land, they should forget it.
