Atta Mills allowed friends that he knew or should have known were CROOKED and had the PROPENSITY to be corrupt to occupy positions that gave them opportunities to practice their Corruption with Impunity.

Mahama glorified corruption by seeking 'Evidence' that nobody would give him and making Appointees abd friends feel comfortable with graft.

If Nana Addo will keep serious VIGIL over half of his Anti-Corruption Agenda, he may give Ghana a chance to start a serious fight against the CANKER. But he MUST 'CONTAIN' the SMUGGLERS, the DRUG DEALERS and OVER BLOATED CONTRACT Sponsors to have the SPACE. That will be REAL PROGRESS.

*check out Tema port ...if you don't pay a good bribe your goods can be at sea for months ,
*check out tax due by gold companies agreement that pay less tax if 30% paid into individual "personal" accounts .......
*look at Korle bu....there should be a book and a tax man there to collect tax on all the corrupt revenue ...how to get a bed by paying staff, how to deliver empty boxes of drugs and get paid, how to "break" equipment in the hospital & refer the patient to their own practice & charge fees for a service that should have been free.......
*ghost names last year 28,200 removed official" from MOF ...even at $500 a month that's nearly $800 million a year WITHDRAWN or still hidden in banks (if there for 10 years (dormant account) and not withdrawn banks take it to their account (if a teller notices no movement out before after 6 years they transfer it to their relative )(but MOSTLY MONEY WAS WITHDRAWN or transferred !!!!any cash returned any arrests NO ...

The justification for a fully radical and violent approach is that corruption is making complete nonsense of every good government policy and initiative! Take, for example, the so-called free school policy; corruption will mess it up big-time and render it hopeless! Guaranteed! In a society of hydra-headed and total corruption, socialist-oriented policies - like free school-feeding, national health insurance - tend to turn out badly not because the policies are bad but because the people are bad! The people are too corrupt to make such good schemes work! You don't give good fruits to dogs, they will just trample over them! Nor do you put good wine in rotten, fetid bottles; the wine will turn rancid and sour!

In its hydra-headed form, the monstrosity of corruption in Ghana is that it is everywhere - in the judiciary, the legislature, in parliamentary vetting and approval of ministerial nominees, in the presidency, the media, the schools, the police, the hospitals and so on! You see it in every public contract awarded, the roads built, the electricity bills, the water bills, the cleaning of the gutters, the issue and renewal of driving licenses, at the airports! Total and comprehensive! It even drives by you in the form of state cars that the immoral, heartless politicians give out cheaply and thievingly to themselves before leaving office!

The most ridiculous part is that even the food the judges eat, you see corruption in it: judges have been bribed with goats and plantain to free armed robbers! What rottenness is this!!! Even the penis of the judges is not spared corruption: judges have been bribed with having erotic time with prostitutes! What filth is this!!! A police officer can collect a bribe of Two Ghana Cedis (GHC 2) for a motor-traffic offence! Two Cedis, man! Two Cedis! It all makes you wonder which is worse, bags of cocaine missing in the strong-room of the Police or the police officer collecting a bribe of Two Cedis!

In a country where children are still attending school classes under trees, children swimming across snake-infested rivers to go to school, in such wretched, dehumanizing conditions of some children in the country, former presidents retire not only on their fat, fat salaries but also on a huge, huge package of emoluments including, unbelievably, their greed to acquire for free state houses! The rulers, who conduct themselves as though the state is their personal property, sell state lands in prime areas to themselves at throw-away prices and think it is all a fine democratic practice! Damn! If this is democracy, then what is kleptocracy!

Common sense should tell us that this wretched culture of corruption and thievery in governance will not continue for long! It is destroying the society! Sooner or later it will reach the point of 'enough is enough'!
