THE NDC PARTY DID NOT THINK KEN OFORI ATTA WOULD GIVE THE NATION OF THE KIND HE READ, IN THE MIDST OF THE NEGATIVE STATE OF THE ECONOMY IN GHANA, BEQUEATHED BY CORRUPT AND INCOMPETENT JOHN MAHAMA AND THE NDC PARTY. THE NDC PARTY CONVINCED THEMSELVES THAT, THE NPP WOULD NO WRIGGLE ROOM TO MANOUVRE AND PRODUCE A BUDGET OF HOPE AND MAKE A START ON FULFILLING THE NPP MANIFESTO PROMISES. SO, THE NDC HAVE BEEN STUNNED INTO ATTAKING THE FINANCE MINISTER, HENCE THE USE OF FAKE ACCOUNTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO PUT FAKE NEWS TO PAINT KEN OFORI-ATTA BLACK AND PUT HIM IN BAD LIGHT. GOOD RIDDANCE TO NDC BAD RUBBISH.

Hei Kwashie Adjah, stop there in your tracks with that bad English and hastily conclusion. What proof do you have to that end, do we have only two parties in the country, or what makes you so jumpy about the NDC to the extent that they should be blamed for every negative report ?You and your party should start delivering on the seemingly insurmountable promises, rather than being always in the campaign mood. The elections are long gone. Open your eyes and ears well.

This is not a new problem. Theere was an FBI account for the recent past Foreign minister . Crooks were using this account trying to extort money from others. Very sad as the tactics of the scammers became obvious.

National Security ministry must get Facebook, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service and the telcos to track down the crooks behind this.
This is definitely a national security issue - and those in government who are hacked by online fraudsters need to always regard it as such.
The time has come for Ghana to do something about the many online crooks who have made our country a global superpower in online fraud.
The Ghana Police Service needs to have a new cybercrime unit that is cutting-edge, which works closely with Google, Facebook and the telcos regularly to identify, arrest and prosecute those engaged in Sakawaa online. Enough is enough.

Ken Ofori-Atta, is a close relative of mine and I believe his denial as to the ownership of the alleged "fake Facebook" accounts. He has always been known and respected as a very honest and loyal son of Ghana. I challenge all Facebook account holders to discredit all rumors about him and to protect the good name of our Honorable Finance Minister.

Enough of this finger pointing nonsense of some NPP members at innocent citizens whenever something goes wrong. First and foremost they must look from within before coming out. Don't forget the NPP letterheads used to report Kwabena Agyapong's resignation. Was it from outside? Again people should know that Facebook was not created in Ghana, and so Zuckerberg and his group has a tight security on such matters, and they are very good at detecting and arresting whoever is behind it. So the Finance Minister instead of rushing to make this announcement should have contacted Facebook, report it to both the Ghana police and CID, and the three in collaboration would have nib the one in the bud. This is cyber crime, dangerous and must not be allowed to root in Ghana. The 'COMPETENTS' must not act 'INCOMPETENTLY'.
