From those humble beginnings, he gained a double first at Oxford University in the 1930s and then went on to study law and qualify in the law courts of England. He returned to Ghana in the 1940s and established one of the most successful law practices in country.

With all these unending line of words you put out there suggests that you're trying to spin the words of the finance minister into a different direction. He made it clear that the free education program is going to begin in the fall season with the first year students and continue from there. The administration knows what they intend to achieve by these steps, and one of them is to avoid the propaganda that will be spread by you same opposition elements in terms of achievement. So they're starting it with beginners in order to ascertain the difference between The kids Who had the burden of fee paying and how that affected their studies and these ones with no burden financially, how their performance would be, because some of these children have to go and sell for their parents or to engage in some sort of activities to be able to meet their financial obligations. And these things hinders their studies in diverse ways. So the issue of a kid skipping classes with the excuse that my parents can't pay my school fees or my exams fee will be a thing of the past. Now considering the tax free spare parts you people are taking about, Some taxes cause a chain of reaction on the pricing of a commodity and put a burden on the consumers and l'm giving these literal accessment so that the reader will understand what l am trying to say without quoting any financial terms. And this explains why in some countries like Benin they have adopted to the free port system to make sure that transportation doesn't always suffer going through surging petroleum prices and other tariffs which at end of the day affects the entire pricing of every commodity in the market and the cost of living in general. One of the reasons why the NDC failed is that, they mingled economic facts and political facts together and never seemed to care about the impact on the life of the average Ghanaian. For instance the NDC was so obsessed with clinging on to power and never cared about what happens to the economy, even if destroying the business predominantly held by the opposition party's sympathizers will ruin the economy of our country was never one of their concerns. This also explains why they try to build all the four markets at the Kumasi central district simultaneously without even considered what impact the disruption of these business activities will have on the economy of the nation. This was also the reason why they failed to tackle the spare parts skyrocketing taxes issues, since the spare parts business is held predominantly by the opposition party sympathizers, in their illusionary economic principles was to crush the spare parts businesses to hamper the financing of the NPP. How can you build a nation with that formidable economic prospect on this footing?.

From where i stand the current president is a true socialist despite being a capitalist per ideology.When you see somebody for sympathy and empathy for fellow mankind,you see it in his actions by virtue of dedication to service to mankind.The past NDC government claim to be social democrats but everything pointed to a callous,heartless and corrupt government who only used the ordinary citizenry to enrich themselves and immediate family.JDM had a very good chance to prove he was indeed a socialist who stood for the poor and marginalized but he chose to engage in the same criminal tendencies as his father that made him one of the most unpopular politicians in northern Ghana.There is a mark difference between believe in ideology and practice of ideology but the massive corruption and looting under the Mahama Government was stark reality to a socialist ideology and concept helped by fake characters pretending to be pan-africanists and socialists.I can define Akuffo Addo in 4 words;a pan-africanist,a patriot,an incorruptible and nationalistic citizen who puts country before personal interest.The hallmark of good leadership is people who live by example and inspire others.The simply of the occasion was marked by the simple dressing of the president with an emphatic,resounding speech that suggested seriousness and urgency of responsibilty beyond beyond reckless effrontery,oligarchy and open display of opulence with impunity.What is even more heartwarming is the positive reassurance of rule of law in the midst of citizens right which was flaunted with gusto by so-called political players who are nothing more than mere nonentities with an obvious intellectual handicap by way of resoning and knowledge.I have made the argument that JDM wanted to create his own power base but made a grievous mistake of relying on intellectually myopic band of marauding opportunist and sycophants as praise singers who could not even do a situational analysis that NDC will lose the election by a very wide margin per the facts on the ground.They resorted to mud-slugging ,slandering,oppression and sabotage, targeting persons perceived to be loyal to the founder JJ Rawlings because the former president ingeniously and incredibly believe in his own ability made possible by enemies very close to him as praise singers for reward.The hallmark of a good government is to provide security and protection for vulnerable citizens.The reason why the likes of Martin Amidu and other less prominent citizens who aggressively pursuit cases in the high court was because of the government own posture of flaunting the rule of law and abusing the fundamental rights of others who did not have power and money.Money and power because the John Mahama Government shamelessly and disgracefully apllied executive powers to stiffle cases in the supreme and high court in the interest of corrrupt public and government officials without due recourse to innocent,defenseless citizens who suffered various infringement and abuse of their fundamental rights.It is amazing that the NPP with a capitalist ideology will be schooling the NDC on social equality and justice.My prediction is that the NDC is likely to stay in opposition not less than 12 years because i am seeing a situation where a government from the capitalist block is implementing social policies that is truely people centered.One thing the Akuffo Addo Government have to do to have total reassurance of the ordinary citizenry is to review all cases in the high and supreme courts callously suppressed by the previous regime bothering on autocracy,naked abuse of power and flagrant abuse of the fundamental rights of defenseless citizens to truly prove we are free of the shackles of corruption,oppression and abuse by powers that be.A serious sovereign country is defined by the rule of law and application of same not just the mere declaration of democracy defined by partisan political elections.For instance what is the point in talking about democracy where heads in public institutions engage in all manner of corrutpion and illigalities including unlawful dismissals knowing they are untouchable before the law per their powerful political links and money that ensure they are protected much to the detriment of victims of abuse.
