Your name suits you well - to say that we should blame the ex-government for the free fall of the Cedi suggests you are not just a BLIND MAN but you are also ignorant and daft. Currencies, Markets and even inflations (to some extent) react naturally (either positively or negatively) based on the consumer confidence in a new administration or new policies. That is why you see the major currencies and markets fall flat (like in the case of Brexit and the pound) or go steadily up whenever there is an election here in the west. I live in UK and my boss and I used to run a remittances (money transfer) business and I remember that a few days after Prof. took the mantle from Kuffuor the pound and the dollar started going down against the Cedi, and my boss who is a staunch npp man said to me I think Ghanaians are very confident in Prof. One week after Akufo Addo won the election there was a report that the stock market was yet to react to the election results. One whole week! Why? That's because there was no any optimism whatsoever on the part of Ghanaians - they just voted for a change, that's all.
