I sustained wounds for being 12th in class of about 40 at one of the best elementary schools in Ghana. That school produced people live current Vice President, a Current member of State and a host of others. I had every excuse in the world, but I took the punishment, worked hard and today a Director of a University, lessons well-learned. It may seem harsh but I pray the young man would learn to ask for the money rather than steal.

He has the right to punish him because may be it was not his first time and if not checked he would grow up to be a big time arm robber my brother started the same way stealing small amount of monies and fowls and he was ignored and grew up to be a thief the the family was disgraced and our father went to his grave with guilt But l must say seeing the boys back the punishment was too hash.the father must be made to pay for his treatment and cautioned and the boy to desist from that behaviour but l don't think he should face jail time.

What? His own son? He must be jailed, simple. What at all would compel a father to do this to his son? God save us. Money should not drive us to that extent even though I support the boy to be punished but not to that extent.
