Have you heard of what the wise President has said,if not,go back and read the article one more time, and react in a reasonale manner.The President has the Executive power to overturn the name given to the facility when it was re-built by NPP for a different purpose,more than when NKrumah built it as his presidential palace and lived there,and expected his sycophantic party members to salute him every morning with praises and adorations to his appellation.NPP on the otherhand revamped the place as the sit of Government,and with the executive branch having its offices and many other uses of the facility,and for that reason, it would have been proper for christening it Jubilee house to commenmorate the 50th anniverssary of Ghana,s independence.

This is utter balderdash! How about Kufuor's pettiness that led to his renaming the rebuilt Flagstaff House as Jubilee House?

Does the MP know why Kufuor chose the name 'Jubilee' in the first place? Meanwhile, where was the MP when Kufuor, in a blatant display of Presidential arrogance, single-handedly removed the name of Nkrumah from a Public Park that the Chiefs and People of the Brong Ahafo Region had honored the deceased President with, and replaced the name with Busia's. Kufuor's hollow excuse was that Busia is the one who deserves such an honor because he comes from the Region.

Who says someone who does not come from an area should not be honored with any monument in that area? Either Kufuor was being puerile in judgment or flippantly partisan or both.

Busia could have been honored in many other ways, too, without replacing Nkrumah's name with his on that Park. The MP may have some amnesia or is just simply a pitiful ignoramus.
