The Cameraman should have known better but when it comes to security it is NOT UP TO THE CAMERAMAN TO DECIDE whether he is in breach of security or not. It is up to those responsible for security. Why didn't the security personnel drag this cameraman away even if he showed insolence? The cameraman showed no respect and he should be reprimanded accordingly.

My message is if that camera man did not adhere to security protocols he should be allowed on similar functions. And the security responsible for the media team must ensure they know all media teams present. Long live NANA ADD.

It always baffles me when we take the security of our leaders,we will be laughing stock in this world.Remember if anything that happens to our head of state due to negligence of those who are paid to protect our president is going to be snare around the neck of every Ghanaian.Irrespective of our political affiliation we must learn to love ghana first.No matter what Americans always take their president security seriously and any breach of the his security is a very big deal.

It was a serious security lapse for him to get almost right in the face of the president. A security perimeter surrounding people who must be protected must be maintained at all times except in an informal setting. Even in that, there must be security sweep to ensure the safety of the person being protected.

Infact I have personally being studying the security around our president especially in public outings and I'm deeply concerned. I think his excellency the president has kept his dedicated but inexperienced bodyguards who served him faithfully during his time in opposition, as much as they might be dedicated I think they need much more training in protecting our president as the threat level to his excellency now, is much more than it was in opposition. When I study the visible protective formation around the president in public functions, I can clearly see the absence of the four basic protective formations for VVIPs namely the wedge, box, diamond and one-on-one formations which are a structured perimeter of defense formed around VVIPs .
Whoever is in charge of the president's protection can pls contact some of us to freely link them to proper contacts in helping to train these dedicated but inexperienced protection unit around our president; NADAA. During the SONA parade where a camera man seemed to have breached the security perimeter and refused to obey the 'poor' but security sensitive police man who frantically but unsuccessfully tried to move him, you could see clearly that the protective agents should have maintained a 360-degree security coverage around the president , looking for potential threats of which this camera man was clearly a potential threat but they were no where to be found. There should be 'point body guards','flank body guards','rear bodyguards' and a 'detail leader' .. all these arrangements seem to be lacking .... I'm really concerned.
I hope the people responsible for ensuring the president's protection will pls wise up and get this rectified before something bad happens especially in these dangerous times .
Just my humble opinion.....
Long live the president, long live Ghana.
