Very sorry for your loss. This is unacceptable and just apologies to this woman is not enough. There need to be a detailed investigation to get to the bottom of this. I hope the responsible authorities, nurses and doctors will learn from the outcome of the investigation and take the necessary measures to ensure that it is not repeated. No mother, wife or daughter has to go throught this. I hope this woman can get some good lawyers to provide her with free legal service or Otiko Djaba will take this case up.

Why cnt u make it a point to do this exercise every 3months or at least every 6mnths so probly twice a yr since the unit involve the handling of different ppl from different places. I hope the mother get justice in this case. Very Very sorry for ur loss. Take heart!

In 2013 when i went deliver at 37...they almost killed me with my child inside me plus another pregnant woman ...both of us were incedued with fake medication from their own pharmacy.....i felt weak n blurry n insisted they do a CS n get my baby out bcos i knew i was dying n my baby wasn't responding any longer. ..been in labor for too longn my baby was tired.....37 Doctors n nurses said NO my request. ...until several hours n calls to a senior Doctor who is a family friend came to intervene. ...finally when the CS was done my son cldnt move...we almost gave up..it was a miracle. ..during the procedure they saw the effect of the fake medicine. ...i reminded them that i was the only person they n that there was another woman they shd cs on ...i slept i dont know what happen to that woman n d child....when i was moved to the ward i got infection from the toilet seat still with the my catetar ...when i told them i hv infection cos peeing is so painful. ..they insisted they ll not prescribe antibiotics to treat d infect i just manage....hmmm Ghana we hv a long way to go...37 ll kill ur baby...the junior Doctor later apologized for using fake to induce me.

THE HOSPITAL MUST PAY FOR THE FAMILY'S SUFFERINGS. A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE DYING FROM SIMPLE ERRORS TO LACK OF MEDICAL ATTENTION AT THE RIGHT TIME. ABOUT TIME PEOPLE STARTED SUING THESE HOSPITALS AND DOCTORS FOR ANSWERS.

Just last Monday, my sister inlaw also lost her bouncing baby boy at Adum pampaso children hospital, due to de negligence of de nurses on duty. they were so careless that, de lady was supposed to give birth at 11am as de senior nurse who checked her said. N de nurses ignored de lady till 3:30. N at dat time der was no strength for her to push any more. N by the time de baby arrived, he can't breath properly, N he died 10 mins after. Pls Mr health minister, check de nurses very well. bcoz people ar dieing bcoz of their negligence. some of them.

way forward about these matters is to report them and get justice but not to allow people to hurl insults at groups of people. very irresponsible. our journalism have become more sensational than progressive.
