  The directive is to MMDAs not MMDCEs. NSS has no locus to order MMDCEs to organise/supervise NSS elections. Ghana journalism sucks.

  Thank you very much, Akwasi. The NSS secretariat indeed has no locus to supervise or organise NASPA elections. I am an ex-national executive of NASPA and what the deputy director needs to know is that the association is independent of the secretariat. The secretariat does not fund the association.
  If the deputy director thinks he has no work to do but to derail into the affairs of the association, let me give him work:
  1. The two unit house in Ashongman Estate, Accra was bought and paid for by the association, quit your staff from there or pay rent to the association
  Where are the Toyota Venture and Niva vehicles owned by the association in Accra?
  3. Where is the Nissan Urvan vehicle in Kumasi?
  4. How about the transit quarters in Pankrono, Kumasi?
  5. How about the uncompleted transit quarters in virtually every regional capital in the country?
  
  There are more questions. A very similar move was made in the past after the reign of PETER KPORDUGBE which eventually gagged and almost collapsed the association. Thank God it is back, so don't try it again.
