He levelled with the people, enmeshed and identified himself with their causes, as best as he could. He wore Black Stars jerseys for Christ sakes. He did not lock himself into the arcane offices of ambassadorship. Rather he brought us and the UK even more closer and in the process created the niches to enjoy his stay.
