I bet the nearest fire tender was more than 80 kilometers away while we focus on V8s. I hope there were no casualties.

For once let us get on top of this national problem before it becomes a full blown crises.First of all let us trace the source of these fires. My will be over heating charging chords for the new gadgets that have saturated Ghana.Solution?EDUCATION.The goverment must start making public announcements or commercials to educate our people of charging these gadgets(mobile, tablets, laptops etc)with those flimsy chords for too long.Last year we had series of market fires, business fires, filling station explosions and house fires which killed, injured and destroyed many lives and properties.Prez Mahama did well by maintaining and upgrading the Fire Fighters capabilities but what we didn't get was the education part. This government must take it upon itself to educate the people about fire prevention and how to escape.Otherwise all the investments and hardwork will be useless.

very pathetic, bad day for the students who lost her money in the incident, the authority, NGO,s as well as the MP for the area to come to their aid. fire safety should be taught in schools ie my humble opinion.

It looks like there is nothing like fighting fire from destroying property and stopping it from spreading in the vocabulary of fire fighting and prevention in this country of ours.
