She is lucky to have escaped with her life.I have seen at least three lynching in Kumasi the past 5 years.At one point a thief being chased would run to the nearest police station to save his very life.Unfortunately these mob justice rose from police corruption.In the past, apprehended thieves and robbers turned over to the police,were subsequently released after bribing the officers.If the government want to stop these vigilantes and mob justice,they should restore the people's trust in the police .

But what has stripping a woman naked got to do with stealing,spreading her legs apart to see her pussy, sticking legs into her pussy and slapping her ass etc. None of those things deserve to be done to any human being. And if this evil, barbaric acts continue, probably next time it could be a case of mistaken identity or someone mistakenly calling your loved one a thief. Now think about that, how will you feel if your mother, sister, daughter, or wife was mistaken called a thief and meted with instance justice of sexual assault? We have rules and laws in the country, no one deserves this treatment, if you condone instance justice then u need to rethink your worth as a human!!! This is the third such act that has gain popularity on social media;
1.mizz bell being figured and molested when we enter a crowd at the university while performing
2. the is the case of Amina who was accused of stealing a laptop at Legon the same fate was meted to her

This is the same idiotic reason why drivers in Ghana hit and run, simply because the crowd is more interested in beating the driver than taking the victim to the hospital. Is she beautiful because she is fair colored? Why now? Ghanaians have been doing this mob jungle instant justice nonsense for decades and even when I wrote an article against this behaviour, about 90% of the comments were insults against me for defending "criminals", so why the sudden change?

The "victim " here is a woman and that is why this condemnation. Some men are brutalized and killed all the time in Ghana for allegedly stealing and nobody speaks against it so is it because the alleged thief is a woman that is why people are mow realising the foolishness of this instant justice by mob mentality?

Dear Ladies, this appears to a public disorder and brutalisation of a citizen which is obviously a Police matter and the petition should therefore be referred to the IGP with the incriminating video if the Kumasi Police failed to do their duty in maintaining law and order! No body has a right to defile and brutalise this woman even if she was accused of theft. Please, civil rights organisations, organised civil education against such mob actions in 21st century Ghana!!

No person is guilty until proven guilty. If we want to be part of a civilized world governed by laws and orderliness then we must allow law enforcement to do its mandated job. Mob justice is also a crime.

This is not the right person to address mob vigilante . This is an issue that must be addressed by ministry of justice , the attorney General dept , ministry of interior and the IGP. How on earth should a suspect be subjected to such in humane acts including lynching , setting people on fire and other vicious acts with spectators watching and not intervening when we have laws to deal with suspects and real culprits . Ghana is a civilized nation but this vigilante justice makes the country uncivilized and barbaric . Those who perpetrate these instant justice must be made to face the full rigors of the law . This must stop now .

When its not happened to you you will not understand why instant juctice is not good. I will give you a short life story of my life that was nearly taken in kumasi. I was a student in kpoly but leave in a hostel in asokwa Radisco if i got the spelling right. I had some money deposited at then PIREM where by then i can get 30% of montly on my savings. I got up about 2 am when my interest was due to go and quere for money but when after walking for a long time and got to luv fm area. I was nearly taken as a thief by some lorry drivers who started to slap me taken me as one of those who has stolen their goods onboard. I had to shout for help and was rescured by some taxi drivers after showing my documents that indeed it was due time to go to PIREM. My piont is instant juctice may result in taken inocent life. Let be careful. I an just angry now.
