FREE SHS SHOULD BE CONDITIONAL

Free SHS should not be wholesale. At least there must be conditions attached. The following conditions could suffice:
1) There must be a cut-off point for those who want to go to secondary or technical/vocational institutions. Aggregate 20 for those going to secondary schools and 30 for those going to technical/vocational institutions. Note: this does not mean that those who go to technical/vocational schools a low grade students. You know, subjects taught at the primary and JHS level are academic in nature and so those who have interest in technical and vocational courses are always left out. It is possible that if technical/vocational courses were started at the primary school level, those with low grade would have excelled better than their secondary school counterparts.
2) Special consideration should be given to students from outside the regional and district capitals.

The grades shold be the same. Technical are the well paid people who pay less tax in USA.Is a lucrative venture which should have only serious people wanting to be there.

Whatever fund that could be used to make education competitive and free to the future generations is what I support. Getting educated and we'll informed of policies will improve their ability to think of inovative ideas and find ways of sustaining the development of our motherland Ghana when we are dead and gone. If we think of heritage fund or what you may call it and continue to produce a bunch of illiterate future leaders, then politicians will continue to loot and share our money because we have a bunch of intellectual deficits to effect on the intellectual effects of economic and courtry development. Growing up as a village boy, my motor was education is knowledge, seek yee the kingdom of education and you will be capable of doing everything to develop to be Likept a city boy. A village boy is now a nurse in USA. Thanks God and my parents struggle. I support this social intervention 100% no matter where the funding will come from.
