That was a stupid dicision to transport trops to start a war in another country. If the trops were for peace keeping that would have been a great move but sending an invassion force to The Gambia was such a terrible blunder. ...

That was a stupid dicision to transport trops to start a war in another country. If the trops were for peace keeping that would have been a great move but sending an invassion force to The Gambia was such a terrible blunder. More so Akofo Addo and NPP who held Ghana to ransom for 9months following the 2012 elections should have been the last person if all to prevent Jemmeh's from challenging the election results of his country in court. Akofo Addo and NPP are lucky the war did start because Yahya Jemmeh is not warlike as Nana Addo is. It is $450 000 financial loss they have caused which in itself is bad enough. Just imagine if any widows and orphans resulted from any of our trops dying during fighting a senseless war in The Gambia. Mr president stop this type on impulsive decisions before you ruin Ghana.

Kwasi,this is what it's called defense budget,some of these situations are anticipated in military situation and funds allotted are used,They don't go to the finance ministry for money in these occasions

Think about it: if you are going to a potential combat situation, you wont just arrive with your bare hand but you need some equipment (which need special lifts).
