  We said, writer. Government can go ahead and make schooling free but the most important resource (in this case, the teacher) when not well motivated would yeild nothing. Its unfortunate that other professionals have their allowances doubling that of teachers salary and we expect them to perform magic. Lailai!

Our trained Ghanaian teachers like our nurses, ddoctors, pharmacists, artisans, soldiers,diplomats, and police are among the best professionals in the world but they are relatively not well remunerated, hence poaching by other rich countries of the world who entice them with mouth-watering offers.
