Chief Executive officer of Ashanti Gold FC, Kudjoe Fianoo had hinted that Ghana Football will soon experience new transformation.

Speaking to KASAPA Sports last Sunday during the AFCON finals, the GHALCA chairman believes there are so many factors affecting Ghana football hence the Black Stars inability to win an AFCON after 35yrs, so there must be a revolution in Ghana football.

“When we were looking for favourites for the 2017 AFCON, I’m not sure pundits will mention Cameroon, and also did not get eight of their players going into the tournament, but they were bold to take the young players to the tourney and have proved all odds wrong.

"In this modern age football, if you don’t invest you will not get results, our local league is nothing to write home about and until we put the right structure in place and stop how we run football like a political party, u are either for us or against us because it will take us nowhere and very soon I can assure u there will be a revolution in Ghana football,” he said.

The Black Stars of Ghana failed to clinch the bronze medal when they were beaten by Burkina Faso by a lone goal in the third place play-off.
