Stanbic Bank launches new promotion for 2019 AFCON

Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited has launched a new campaign that will see it reward five loyal customers with tickets to watch some games of the 2019 AFCON with their partners and a ward.

The campaign which seeks to encourage cashless transactions among customers using the bank’s digital platform will run from now till June when the 2019 AFCON will kick off.

Speaking at the launch of campaign, the Manager in charge of Card and Payment at Stanbic Bank, Emmanuel Kojo Sampson revealed that to be part of the promotion customers had to obtain goods and services with their Stanbic and Credit cards via the POS or online platforms.

He stated that customers are required to use their card at least fourteen times in a month to stand a chance of winning one of the five available slots.

He explained that four of the winners will watch the matches with their partners with one lucky winner enjoying the game with his or her child who will have a rare experience of performing a player-escort role in the game.

“Basically what we are saying is that every month we will reward five customers who have done the most number of transactions using their Stanbic debit card. At the end of the three month campaign period we will also pick twenty customers who have done the highest number of transactions".

We’ll put those twenty customers in a draw and pick lucky five customers out of the number. For those lucky five that we are picking, we offering four slots so they visit Egypt for the AFCON with their wards. And one lucky person out of that five will get a chance to go for the AFCON with their partner”.

The Executive Head of Personal and Business Banking at Stanbic Bank Ghana, Nana Benneh stressed that the campaign is a demonstration of the bank’s strong connections to the African continent. He noted that over the years the bank has come up with products tailored for the Ghanaian market. He added that the Stanbic Visa card will usher customers into a new level of experience in digital banking.

We have always brought you product and services to meet the various needs in Ghana and beyond. But today in partnership with Visa we bring you something slightly different. We bring you a card that is the gateway to other forms of payment and gives you access to a whole new world of digital banking”.

“We hope that through this campaign we will encourage most our cherish customers and potential customers to get used to doing banking through their cards from the comfort of their homes, cell phones, their laptops and other forms of mobile devices”, he said.
