Ade Coker is speaking simple common sense: if the NPP government knows who is keeping government property unlawfully, let them just issue an ultimatum to them to submit them to the appropriate authorities and if they refuse then force can be applied. But the situation where people in the new government assume that every NDC person is keeping government property is not only stupid but criminal. If their actions were sensible and right they wouldn't have had to send the vehicles back to Kofi Adams and they would have saved Kan Dapaah the embarrassment of apologizing. As for merely calling all NDC people "thieves" to justify these rambo-style attacks, I think you are just being equally stupid.
If you have proof of any NDC person who has stolen government money or property, just report the person to the appropriate authorities for action. This "thief, thief" matter without proof is just silly political propaganda. Grow up, Gladys (or whatever your real name is)!

Government officials do not have to chase you to return state properties. If you have any conscience, the right thing to do is to return them voluntarily without being forced to do so. Tell your create and loot cronies who have put up mansions in and around the Aburi mountains and are hiding government vehicles in them to return them or we shall start to mention names.

Actually, in Ghana, it does take rocket science to identify state vehicles and other assets. The reason is because, high government officials engage in an active pattern of stealing. Vehicle chassis numbers are changed by these officials and their agents. They have no shame. Document trails can assist in a forensic tracing of these assets. If every official were to act honorably and simply return their vehicle, then all this palaver of unauthorised vigilantism will cease

This man cannot be serious, just look at the people we have in charge of high positions. Is he saying that those in possession of government vehicles do not know they have them?, why should they wait till the government publish them before they bring them?. A thief is constantly looking for a loophole in a system that he/she could manoeuvre.
So if the government misses publishing some of the vehicles then those thieves will keep them and if government is able to publish them all then the thieves will find a way that will help them keep the vehicles because thieves would not want to be humiliated in public and all the other uncomfortable things that come with it. I could go on and on. This man does not befit/deserve his position.
