That may underscore the incompetence of the Mahama administration for not sacking those Kuffiour recruits knowing that they were unqualified to be enlisted into the force. I'm taking about the Ghana Police Service the service that is charged with enforcing peace and order, transparency, rule of law, accountability protections of the citizens rights and so on. And if even the recruitment process is compromised, how do you expect the service to live up to its responsibilities. And I hope that you bunch of critics are aware of the fact a senior commissioner of the Ghana Police Service is facing charges of offering jobs in the service for money and who knows if he is a loner for that offense or other senior officers of the service are also part of a larger syndicate. Sometimes we as citizen should also weigh the effect of bad behavior instead of looking through the political lens. We don't want people who are crooks and robbers and gangsters to be enlisted in the department that is supposed to protect our safety, or Do we?

Yes, Nana Esi was wrong in dragging politics into a genuine police recruitment program and you are equally wrong for towing that line with unsubstantiated allegation. Now, for you both, police recruitment is simply a police recruitment and nothing else to it.

Throughout my adult life, I have never come across a soul enlisted to join the Ghana Police Service or the likes, complaining bitterly that he/she was asked as to who or what party he/she voted for before allowed to enroll and I bet, birdbrain you kind have not come across same either. So then, why the widespread politicization on such recruitment or programs?

NDc has brought people who are qualified but just that they attended some technical schools you; you want to sack them.
They should be mindful that when NDC comes back to power we will also do same to them. We will sack all those who have been recruited even if their in the service for 4yrs or more we will recheck their certificates from scratch. We cannot be going this way if we want a better Ghana . Npp has tested the waters and they should know that if you don't scratch somebody back he will not repeat same.

If the reason for dismissing these persons is true then the IGP MIUST DEMONSTRATE REAL SERIOUSNESS AND COMMITMENT TO REDEEMING THE DENTED IMAGE OF THE GHANA POLICE SERVICE by probing further to bring to BOOK all persons within or outside the service whose actions or inactions facilitated the enlistment of the dismissed recruits.

Mr IGP you owe it a public duty to ensure that the right thing is done with no fear or favour.

How can someone who doesn't even have a certificate get enlisted. We need to blame NDC n their incompetence for trying to put all of us in danger. Trust me some cannot even spell their own names but weaved their way through the system via certain factors, nepotism, tribalism, political interference(protocol), bribery sex,etc. All these at the expense of very brilliant ones who as a result of not possession any of the factors, continue to suffer. The Armed Forces, police service, prison service etc are full of such people. Is about time we clear off such people from the system devoid of partisan politics. They are most at times the very people who creat the mess in the system. But my question is that, can we do without these factors as human beings? I salute
