U must really be butt hurt with this electoral defeat. Everything is about Mahama and NPP. This is football not politics. Hopefully in 4 years NPP will perform and the noise u making around the internet will be ignored.

Datson u are very wrong. Yes Nkrumah started it but ET made a big turn around for the better. I had a friend who was chosen to play under 17 and was taken to the place ET Talked about in Winneba. I saw it for myself as well.

That's very true. I remember Coach Afranie was in my school way back to scout for players for the under 17 when we were training for inter schools.

Promoting COLTS FOOTBALL is long over due......

Most people will shout from the roof top claiming that colts football is a thing of the past, in the advent of football academies.

Well, we ought to look DEEPLY at the resources in the hands of our society and the failure of the GFA, of Ghana football. We can't even manage our local leagues and pay players' wages.

How much more investing in academies, which requires huge investments? It will never happen with our mind-sets of today. The GFA management is poor and I can't see it happening.

I remember the days of colts football, managed by FOOTBALL-LOVING individuals from within OUR communities. Greed for money was not their motives at all but, the joy and fun it brings to the society, the bragging rights and the icing on the cake was to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium, following winning the Greater Accra Colts League or the Knock-Out competitions.

How on earth did those individuals manage to bring us so much joy and fun, with very little resources? Think about it. It groomed and instilled respectful players......not the likes of Braimah.

The likes of Great Farcos, Soccer Mercenaries, Noble Aries, Ken- Harrison Babies, Corinthians, Adabraka Hearts Babies, Halifax F.C., Black Power and many more others I can't even recall.

These colts football matches were also going on in the other regions.

And look at the players it produced.......the likes of POLO, ABEDI PELE, and many more others.

But in the advent of the GFA earning millions of dollars by means of our national teams representing our nation worldwide, it has produced nothing with our youth football development.

GREED, CORRUPTION and ARROGANCE has been the order of this day, which is costing our football development so dearly. And worst of all, politicizing our football.

We need to get rid of Nyantakyi and his entire GFA management to start afresh.
