How many times did the NSS personnels went on demonstrations and the govt never thought it wise to increase. And per this, do u know if the NDC had won the election, they would have increased it? They wouldn't have done that. Besides, Even the people the govt is going to work with are still being vetted for. They have not yet released the budget yet. And morever, it has not been even a month since he was sworn in. Do you know what it takes to do justice to all the sectors.
When issues crop up, just put yourself in both shoes and I bet you, you will be doing good to the country. Lets not comment and say things anyhow. Lets put Ghana first.

The salary increment was announced just some few weeks to the end of the year so u can't expect expect the money to be paid at the end of January. Government workers received their 12.5% increment because they announced that increment somewhere in August.So NASPA should know better that the increment would definitely be paid.

We don't want to have any misunderstanding with current government, because the previous government have upgraded NSS allawance which was approved by the Parliament and promised to be effected in January, 2017 and also made 12.5% for Ghanaian works including Mr president and which was also to be effected in the same January and that was done without any hindrance but why national service now is refusing by the President and his minister of finance. We the NSS Personnels are informing Mr President to pay our remaining balance of Gh209 back into our accounts which we work tirelessly for before one week.

But come to think of it that Mahama backdated Article 71 holders three years and collected their salaries from there. On leaving office, he increased it again including all civil servants and nss personnel. Has Akufo Addo not paid all civil servants and article 71 holders their increment? Did Nana refused to pay that because the ex president did that article 71 holders increment? Didn't Nana the executive and other public officers not collect their salaries with the increment just because the increment was done by the ex President? What sort of stupidity and hypocrisy is that? Does the nss personnel have water flowing in them? Are the so-called article 71 holders and other civil servants more human or Ghanaian than the nss personnel? If you are not paying theirs, don't pay all others because the economy is broke but you don't pay yours leaving theirs. One person's salary can be share to about 50 service personnel. Their foolish allowances are even 70% more than a service person's own. What sort of goons, cons and stupidities is that? If nana Addo did capture in his manifesto, why should pay article 71 holder's and other civil servants increments? They haven't had increment for almost 4years and you come and sit on this platform spewing nonsense because Nana is in government and should be given time. Why did Mahama have to increase at the last minute. Nonsense! Does the service personnel not pay huge utility bills, board transport to work, feed on it and other miscellaneous on that meagre money much more even thinking of saving some? It's clearly written on the wall Nana Addo will fail. He was never ordained to be president. God put him there so he can punish him for his selfish greed just to be president. It's almost a month and no direction, he can't sleep, shame ,confusion and scandal is what is rocking his administration. He seems to have lost focus. Fuel prices are up, gas is up, the cedi is falling, invisible forces have taken over our security services and investor confidence in our economy is going Down while his supposed economists is still campaigning and doing propaganda holding press conference here and there.
