Any time there is an allegation the person targeted should step aside for the investigation to proceed? Is he the one to oversee the investigation? As important as anti-corruption is and must be confronted proper due process is not suggestive of not getting into business to deliver quality service to the people!! Neither of the two needs to wait for the other unless you can argue that there is a conflict of interest or likelihood to interfere with the process. Or the issue is so grave that the capacity of the person against whom the allegation is made is such as to affect his performance; OR THAT A STRONG PRIMA FACIE CASE HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED.

When Martin Amidu raised the issue about corruption in parliament that one did not attract attention from Vitus Azeem but when Ayariga raises false alarm about somebody you expect that person to resign. Ayariga must come out with evidence. If Bugri Naabu, who is not learned, knew that he needed evidence to prove his corruption allegation against then Prez Mahama, how much more a lawyer like Ayariga who doubles as a Havard degree holder. Is it that our university graduates are so stupid that they can't think well?
It is indded true that university graduates in Ghana are very useless.

You want the president to suspend the minister just because some crazy and phantom mp has intentionally thrown a spanner I the web with whatever intention. Why don't you consider the merits of Ayariga's assertions vis a vis Muntaka's position before you talk about about removing the minister from post? I thought Vitus was experienced and neutral enough to wait until therecently is conclusion in this matter is drawn before jumping to a conclusion to ask the president to remove the minister.

Agyarko has not given any money to Ayariga. So why should Ayariga accuse him of bribery. Ayariga said Muntaka told him Osei-Owusu told him the money was from Agyarko. Muntaka Osei-Owusu Agyarko have all denied this yet people are calling for investigation. So A tells B that C told him that D had committed an offence then quickly B accuses D of the alleged offence. To me it does not add up. If this is tolerated this government would be inundated with such accusations to distract it. If tomorrow someone accuses a minister without any basis and he is asked to resign for investigations to be done governance would grind to a halt. So the government should watchout for more of this.

Mr. Vitus Azeem,I appreciate greatly your concern about the alleged bribery scandal at the Appointment Committee of Parliament. However, if I may ask, I would like to know your opinion on what action would you like to see meted to those MPs' who knowingly or unknowingly did accept the bribe money? I for one think they ought to be subpoenaed before their peers and if found culpable for the charge they should officially be removed from Parliament for their irresponsible, disgraceful, corrupt and unbecoming behavior of some members of our esteem Parliament.
Secondly, if I may ask you, where were you when Mahama and his administration blatantly and brutally ransacked the nation's scarce wealth dry for their selfish interest and at the expense of our country's developments, and our welfare and happiness?.
