A family had lost a dear child to a mentally deranged and sex-starved murderer and rapist and you came here only to display your dim-witted understanding. why should this case drag on till now; even after the accused had confessed? If he was a mere cassava thief, he would have been gaoled by now. Whoever is failing to do their duty should be kicked in the backside. Hopefully the judge and prosecutors had not received some yams, kokonte and goat meat thus delaying the proceedings.

This is "normal" ploy used by both prosecutors and defence lawyers to frustrate delivery of justice. Defence lawyers resort to adjournment when they've not been paid their fees and prosecutors used this ploy so victims who are thus frustrated and stop attending court result in cases determined behind their back for lack of evidence. It's unfortunate.
