The investigation is a matter of time. It doesn't matter whether or not some workers' union is in favour or not. If he has done nothing wrong, investigations will exonerate him so there is no point running away from it.

The union do not have a power to restrain any investigation on corruption which might have taken place under his administration. The public have every right to know, how the administration rightly managed the resources of the nation. If the CEO, has nothing to hide, he should endure public criticism and come out clean through a compete jurisdiction of the land supreme court. Corrupt is a common practice in our society, so, we should do everything in human power to uproot the cancerous cells from the system. Individual bad behaviour is roughly affecting many Ghanaians who are miserably living in an abject poverty. People need to be prosecuted for taking needless advantage of the people whom he or she has pledged to serve faithfully and sincerely.

Let an investigation start and let's see the findings. It is too early for interested groups to begin to have positions. Don't forget that the cocoa sector is the biggest revenue source for government and even a small percentage loss due to corruption can have a severe impact on the economy. We must send strong signals to public officials, especially those under the present government that a high level of integrity cannot be exchanged for anything less. The impunity in our system supported by political consideration must stop now. If the suspected outgone executives are not investigated the present ones will be more motivated to do worse, and afterwards left off the hook as well.
