  Yes, Atsu is a midfielder but his role on the Black Stars team is forward, meaning he's part of the attack and supposed to provide assist and also score goals. He is kicking the ball anyhow as if he has no brain. This problem ...

  Yes, Atsu is a midfielder but his role on the Black Stars team is forward, meaning he's part of the attack and supposed to provide assist and also score goals. He is kicking the ball anyhow as if he has no brain. This problem is likely the reason he's been a journey man on different clubs.

  Atsu, you have speed, strength and skills. Learn to feint SOME of your strikes or assists at goal and you will swerve the defenders and goalkeepers for easier goals. For example if you want to pass the ball pretend first you are going to shoot....or if you are going to shoot pretend you are going to pass....trust me it works like magic. Boxers and martial artists use the above trick for knockout punches. Of course you may not need this tactic every time you have to swerve the defenders and goalkeepers.

  Atsu to be on the score sheet you must put the ball between the goalie and the post. If your mates are open get an assist. Keep it simple don't overdo your cuts. Great first effort.
