And this can be ascertained by all sides of the economy debate. That the International communities have projected growth in the economy in coming years, is another matter altogether. The substance of the issue, is the state of the economy at the point of John Mahama and the Ndc exit. If you were a keen observer you would have noticed, President Mahama did not say a word about the economy in his last address to Ghana's Parliament. This was deliberate, to veer from the rot.

First, they would claim the Economy was terribly in the swamps, in a much deeper hole than they met it. Then, when the revenues come in, they would divert much of it for their personal and crony interests, and attribute the resultant failure to meet the expectations they promised the Public to the difficulty claimed.

The simple fact is that they claimed to have all the answers to the plight of the Citizens. They must just shut up and begin working hard to fix the Economy. A humble entreaty to the Public to allow some reasonable time to assess the situation to apply the best fix is in order. But to take to the loudspeakers to announce to the Nation how bad the Economy is even before they begin to evaluate the situation is a wimpy and deceptive approach to preempt blame for failure, or an attempt at claiming more than deserving achievement for any little improvement made.
