It doesn't look like any proper rehearsal was made prior to the opening day. The singers seem confused on stage, most of the kids lacked confidence on the field, the mascot was interesting but lacked stamina for his role. He or she couldn't dance as expected. I was surprised to see no black lady on the sky lines but whites. Africa must wake up and help boost the confidence and image of the girl child. As for patronage, I think the least said the better. Fire all the planning committee members. Bring on "vimfull" youths to get the job done next time around. This is entertainment, not funeral.

We've got to wake up. Oh I almost forgot. The femal musicians were not attractive kwraaa why? "S" shaped singers? Come on people, what the hell was that?

We take things for granted but other countries in Africa are limited in their entertainment options. Comparatively, Ghana has some good singers and musicians.

France has taken advantage of this and it is milking them for themselves, hence the France skywalkers.
We seem to be going back to that pathway and it takes years to get to where Gabon is at the moment.
As you criticise them, learn from it.
It is good to work with Europeans and other continents, but it is advantagous to work with sensible Africans to forge a good future for the continent.

In fact, a white European Priest first saw this raw strong of character and mind and suggested, the African will be more adaptive to the harsh conditions of South America when the indigeous Indians could not.
It had untold off repurcussions for the continent, but hey, it is time we turn our misfortunes into fortunes.
Don't settle for mediocrity.
Yes, Kufuor's Ghana could not prepare a good pitch for the AFcon, but Equatorial Guinea, a country of just about 1,2 million managed to fix it all.
Stop the regression, Africans!
Sankofa can be a bad thing.

Europeans will fight to host tournaments just to use it to boost and increase commerce. The African thinks it is all about kicking a ball between two nations.

I am watching the game between Gabon and Guinea-Bissau. With the first half played, I am yet to see a quality play, even from Aubamayang.

GABON HAS A LOT OF RICH MINERAL RESOURCES INCLUDING OIL, YET MAJORITY OF THE POPULATION ARE POOR WHY? SAME THING IS HAPPENING IN TOGO, ONE FAMILY RULING SINCE 1967, NOT FORGETTING ZIMBABWE,EQUATORIAL
GUINEA, GAMBIA. A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE STRUGGLING TO MAKE ENDS MEET, THAT IS THE CAUSE OF THE STADIUM BEING EMPTY, CORRUPTION IN HIGH PLACES.

I believe that in the future the group stages should be hosted in four different countries. The top seed in each group can host. The knock out rounds can be hosted in one particular country. The reality is that most African countries lack the hotel space and the marketing ability.
There is supposed to be a website making it easy for fans to reserve hotels and buy tickets. The organization of this tournament is too primitive. We should stop fooling ourselves and thinking that Africa can have a great one nation event.
