  In fact, "Plagiarism" is everywhere and in various forms including tangibles far hugest than this...plagiarism of technologies etc. I dare say that Africa has suffered far more plagiarism than any other people. The west copied lots including even buildings ditto ditto from ancient Africa.
  
  Honestly speaking, I will be much consciously willing to engage in even technology plagiarism, not phrase plagiarism but even scientific or technological plagiarism for my people if it would help them, if it would advance their cause, and not care what others would say.
  If we check, we would observe that almost the entire world owe their advancements mostly to plagiarism.

But rather unfortunately, this thing ( The President's PLAGIARIZED speech) hapened not only in public VIEW, but also under the scrutiny of the International Press. Even this, we find some people who should know better, doing All they can to white-wash it.
  
  This, incidentally reminds me of my grandmother's usual admonition that "TRUTH SHALL OUT, NO MATER HOW LONG IT TAKES".

  Proverbs are said to be short witty statements/saying that helps one communicate effectively. The absurdity of the noise about President Akufo-Addo plagiarising former leaders' words is not only disingenuous, but also smacks of envy and the love for mediocrity.
  That the writers of the speech of the President could research and find what will carry the message home to Ghanaians and to use same should be credited and not lambasted.
  It is a show of the wide view to which this presidency is coming into governance with! And can any one deny the huge impact of the speech? The NDC only came up with the skew on plagiarism when they witnessed the huge impact and impression the speech made on Ghanaians! Is it a sin to borrow someone's words to inspire your own to aspire for greater things and a better tomorrow?
  NDC, give Ghanaians a great break for your own good. Your efforts at finding faults with everything this present government is doing is having a negative impact on your already damaged and dented image!
  The efforts of Presiden Mahama to hung on to an official state residence for the Vice-President has not helped at all in this matter. And now that he has come to give up his dream of being there, let no one try to use it to paint the present government as a group of people with bad faith, if not it will burn their fingers badly.
