I agree absolutely with IMANI Ghana. If you put wrong people at some sensitive positions you end up being one term president. These wrong people destroyed the NDC. He never deserves it at all for many reasons.

I'm waiting for a day Ghana ll appoint a retired Supreme Court judge who can not be tag with the usual party colors to be the speaker of the house,naturally no one is perfect especially when the person has been a party person in the past ll sure ve some partisan stands down there in his blood no matter how he/she try.Doe Adjaho yes was too partisan in most of his decitions,the issue of the Ford bribe to the president is one such good examples,we all knew what he the speaker of parliament represented in the past,he could've done better but he chosed to please his party and protect his president,yet they re quick to blame the rulings of the courts but when they re put to the test they fail.Ghana needs a lot of reforms to make things work,the executives concentrate much on their welfare than the general public,just take a deep look at accounts 71 office holders and you ll understand how this people think of themselves,why do they think that they need all the packages given to them and when it comes to other citizens they should and must secrifice for the nation?.Ghana was just heading for war under John Mahama if he did not loose this elections,this has renewed the hope of Ghanaians and we thank Almighty Allah for his divine intervention.....John Mahama used his presidency for family and friends and personal gains and it's only good Governace from Nana Addo that ll prove that for all Ghanaians to see,he's a silent vidigtive person.

It didn't surprise me to see that some ignorant and foolish bigoted Akans have decided to turn this issue into another chance to heap insults on Ewes, and a misguided Ewe, I suppose, Conscience, also reposnding to insult all Akans ad nauseam. For those bigoted Akans, it is in their nature to think, say and write nasty things about Ewes and people from the 3 northern regions of Ghana. The way to tackle them is not to respond by insulting wholesale all Akans, as if all Akans share such vile views or ignorance about Ewes and so-called "Northerners", a multitude of ethnic groups lumped together.

By all means, you can choose to insult them but insult the individuals. Call them "dzimakpla" even, which would be insulting their parents as being irresponsible persons who didn't breed their children well, whereas it might be the case that they are just "kplamase" children, the "hard eared" and rebellious children who refused to listen to and heed their long suffering parents. Sure, the root sof their ethnic prejudices is ingrained in the Akan society, from the pre-colonial to the colonial era, and carried over to the post-indep era. So, we need to deal with the roots and the factors that continue to make some Akans to hold such views about Ewes and Akans, despite the overwhelming facts which contradict their jaundiced and ignorant imagery and beliefs.

Now, you'd hear or read the ignorant bigots claiming Ewes are from Togo and they should go back. Do they mean the VR is their bloody-minded ancestors heirloom the Ewes from there are occupying? And so should vacate that too and move to Togo?

Are they aware that a big chunk of the present VR, the southern part occupied by Ewes, was part of the Gold Coast de facto from 1850? And de jure from 1876, long before the present Ash/R, B/A and the northern regions in 1946?

Are they aware that even the TVT was British annexed territory after the Sagrenti War and the British just gave it to the Germans in 1883/4 and took it back in 1915?

As for their mental warpness, I shall deal with that another time.

It is not surprising that whole apology of a Speaker and his majoritarian parliament was strikingly and screamingly clobbered at the polls on December 7th.
The 6th parliament of the 4th Republic led by Soeaker Adjaho Doe was by far the most irresponsible in the history of Ghana and with their massive trouncing and booting out, we say good riddance to very bad rubbish.

I have suffered personally for what I truly believe was a reckless commission or ommission of the outgone Speaker under his chairmanship of the committee that vetted the immediate former Vice President during the very heady and sad days following the demise of Professor Atta-Mills. That the Speaker, then Deputy Speaker, had an interest in the matter concerning Stanbic Bank was quickly evident when he cautioned, for no sensible reason, the candidate Paa Kwesi Ammissah-Arthur not to mention the name 'Stanbic Bank', which the latter reluctantly complied with. As if that was not enough the committee report which was signed by Mr. Doe Adjaho that same day and forwarded to Parliament for consideration that day intentionally omitted ISSUE 15 out of 35 ISSUES that were raised at Amissah-Arthur. When I obtained the Hansard a day or so later ISSUE 15 was missing. How stupidly clever can this be when the video [and I have the 3-hour CD from the Parliamentary Communication Department] clearly shows the nearly 6 minutes segment! It can only be fraud, crime, and dereliction of duty on the part of Mr. Doe-Adjaho and I intend to get a court of competent jurisdiction to reinstate the testimony.
