The girl died from a bullet wound. Whether or not the gun was registered shouldn't be the central point of discussion. Nothing in the article says the guy who fired the gun has been arrested and charged with causing the girl' ...

The whole story is bizarre. After autopsy the expectation is that the police will continue with their investigations with the necessary arrests and prosecution, whether the gun is registered or not is immaterial at this point ...

After autopsy the expectation is that the police will continue with their investigations with the necessary arrests and prosecution, whether the gun is registered or not is immaterial at this point. The deceased family can assist with the investigation but this is murder investigations until established otherwise, like the girl was accidentally handling the gun and shot herself or was examining it with the friend and the gun went off, the boy at any rate is not trained to handle a gun and if he did the shooting it is reckless manslaghter if he is 18 and above and serves susbstantial jailterm irrespective of whether it was accidental or not.

the family of the boy need to be investigated thoroughly . they have a lot to hide. i do not trust anything they say. to even fabricate it was firecracker that killed suggests tragic flaw. the ghost of lily should not rest until the details is confessed. God have mercy.
