Joe Anokye deserves any reward he gets from the party. Without him we will be preparing for another eight months in the Supreme Court after which the judges will obviously give judgement in favour of the NDC.

Data transmission is simple thing to do in Computer Science. There are several software on the market to use. If this is the basis to give one a cabinet position then the whole idea is stupid.

John Mahama, Omane Boamah and Felix Ofosu Kwakye managed to reduce the Ministry of Communication to a sharp teethed babies tantrum throwing misinformation outfit of crassness, the very essence of that Ministry, it's mandate and what should be it's focus, is very fuzzy to the totally dumbed down NDC party who are now questioning the appropriateness of Joe Anokye as the Minister of Communications.
With Ghana's proposed program of launching it's own satellite into space over the medium to long term, the appointment of Joe Anokye, the tapping of his expertise as the Minister of Communication at this juncture is ample evidence, the NPP is a gov't that means absolute business and Akufo Addo is keenly vested in the Ghana agenda.
Joe Anokye is a fantastic choice for the Ministry of Communications and a brilliant choice.

I agree with you 100% Ras T. The elections was won by a computerize system not by vote. They hacked the EC system n changed all the figures. Trust me you n your so called NASA will regret God is watching you.

NASA has ten (10) operational sites in the USA with Goddard in Maryland where Anokye once worked being one of them. The type of work Anokye performed is mostly done by contractor employees....and I believe Anokye worked for SAIC or one of those contractors engaged by NASA to assist in the information technology area. Therefore, he may not have been a direct NASA employee per se but a contractor employee. It will serve him well to clear the air on this issue. It makes a big difference in his suitability as a government of Ghana minister from a US government national security perspective.

How will this portfolio benefit the country with his talent? He has direct relationship with people at NASA in the US and beyond. Why can't we use this opportunity to advance scientific exploration since he can easily assemble best talents from around the globe to assist Ghana to become a powerhouse in science and exploration? Robotics, aerodynamics, among others.

The president elect Nana Addo should rather use Mr Anokye for these two areas; 1.He should design means and ways to get national ID card. 2.He should assist the security to track security information both inside and outside Ghana. It is very important.
