The Akyem districts in the Eastern Region have been neglected for so long. Akufo-Addo must do more for Akyems. It is said that a Akyems almost always voted against the ruling party because of their political philosophy. Ruling administrations reward constituencies that vote for them placing Akyems at a disadvantage.
