I've known Connell since my Sixthform days at Augusco, St Patrick's House. A very humble and decent man. I was taken aback by his interdiction. I'm happy he's been reinstated. It's the right decision for the school. TG!

Mr. Connel is a very humble, descent and friendly Headmaster, and I am glad that he has been reinstated.
I met him for the first time in September 2016 when I needed a one-day excuse from class permission for my son. I briefly stated my reason for the Exeat.
Mr. Connel was proud that one more of his students was getting a special opportunity. Within the ten minutes that we (My wife and I)spent in his office, Mr. Connel was joking with us as if he had known us for a long time.
He approved the Exeat without any hesitation, questions or demands. I am sure some headmasters would probably create problems and make indirect demands before approval.
Mr. Connel promptly asked his secretary to process the paperwork and inform the Dorm Master.
I did not give Mr. Connel a dash as I consider the gesture inappropriate in some situations. I will always remember his kindness and humility.
Thanks again, Mr. Connel, and HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family.

The article said he was recalled due to improper procedure and not because he never charged those fees. Mere technicalities and you guys are here singing praises. Corruption will never be uprooted in Ghana if parents have this mindset. Your wards shall continue to pay unapproved fees and you'll blame the government.

Please do you have any evidence of corruption against the man apart from what the GES want the whole world to believe? If not then shut up. What do you mean by unapproved fees?

The defence in the article did not once say he did not commit the offence but argued that due process was not followed. Kweku is 100% right.

Mission schools were not established by Government, they were established by individuals in support of their churches. Now when government decides to contribute funding to this only after they have become great schools, it must be careful not denigrate the principles that led o the establishment and greatness of these schools, such as self-help and charity of its aluminia, parents and benefactors, in a bid to make all schools equal, when the schools were established to be different. It is time for government and the churches to sign a charter that spells out clearly the limits of the role of government, and how to opt out of the agreement when it is fooled by overzealous bureaucrats who want to dominate the processes so that they can dictate the selection of teachers and students, without concern for academic excellence and religious norms. Can they do the same to Islamic schools?.

I knew this man a couple of months ago before his interdiction. I was shocked. He is very humble and down- to -earth. I am happy for him. Thank God for his reinstatement.

this man is humble and so what? A wolf in sheep cloth extorting students and parents. That is how all of the heads are in Ghana, extorting. if he knew he is right why didn't he comment or go to court to seek justice?
