What about the in-coming government also decide to appoint those he can work at all such places. Just like Mill let Amidu go, believe me Nana Addo will also let many of such appointees go. Whose butt does Mahama wants to cover so that he appoints an AG at this time. What Akuffo Addo needs now is a special prosecutor to get all who chopped the coutry's money to account for them. Wayome and all such people need to account for the illegal money they took from the government. If they pay, there will be no need to put them in jail but if they refuse or fail to pay, then dump them all at Nsawam. Politicians with mansions and Gas stations should be made to prove where they got such money from to start such businesses. Government must investigate if all such people even evaded taxes. Their money transfers can also be tracked. In this era of computer age, nothing can be hidden.

Appointing a new auditor general cannot hide the rot ndc has left behind. This country will work again and for your own sake get on board and taste the positive change coming. Still he has runny tummy because look, the level of corruption, looting and thievery that Mahama and his looters have wrecked on the national purse inside out, left, right, center all over the place, when confronted with the facts, Whittal Akanjolenur and Domelovo Daniel will call for the head of Mahama and his looters the very next minute, but desperate Mahama doesn't know that, the reason why he is signing his own warrant with these appointments.
That is how desperation looks like and a President who felt lotting and thieving of the national purse needed a "yentie obiaaa approach" because he will stay in power forever.
He has been caught pants down and is suffering...lol.

Now that he's been booted out of office he's discovered the true principles and values of the NDC, probity, accountability and transparency! Having hugely 'denigrated' the values on which the NDC was founded - the principles of probity, accountability, transparency and social justice - he, and his immediate predecessor Atta Mills, staked their legitimacy on cutting of sods and commissioning of projects and, in the process, disfigured the political appeal and soul of the NDC! The outcome of the elections has drummed into him that there's more to governance than just cutting sods and commissioning projects and giving out gifts of cars and houses to shady characters at a time the rest of the people are undergoing the pain of austerity!

If he's doing a sankofa, re-discovering the values that constitute the raison d'etre of the NDC, and now charging others to aspire to them, then he should start with himself!
