I remember the story of Elias Gonzalez, a young boy rescued on the high seas, when the boat they were traveling on capsized, leading to the death of the mother. Beyond this was the standoff between America and Cuba over which of the two countries had the right to maintain this little five year old. That tiny island, Cuba, stood ready to fight for the rights of one of its citizens and the pride of its citizens. As far as the Cuban authorities were concerned, the value of an individual citizen was worth committing the whole country to the perils of war.
I dare say that say that, for any country that will go to lengths the Supreme Court went, to deprive one of its citizens the freedoms as fundamental as the freedom to express one's opinion, is not worth dying for.
For people like Kwami Sefa Kayi who saw nothing wrong with the treatment of 'Sir John' by the SC vis-a-vis that of the Montie 3, I will say that the hottest part of hell will be reserved for them. For the judges who applied the law unevenly as a result of their personal hatred for this youngmen, the ultimate judge, Yahweh, will bring judgement on them accordingly. All that Mahama did was to uphold the sanctity of the individual's rights to free expression, the same rights that Kwami Sefa Kayi enjoys every morning, which allows him to select the issues he wants to discuss or choose the text messages reads on air.

Let no one make any mistake, these youngmen are citizens of Ghana above anything else, just as Sir John was when he appeared before the SC.
