The geographical location of Tamale airport has several advantages over Kumasi.
1.Its location is very strategical and is about 1hr shorter to any destination in Europe or Asia than Accra so it's good for aircraft refuelling and takeoff.
2. It has a wider land which are yet to be used, unlike Kumasi where the airport land have been encroached on.
3.It's a way of bridging the gap between the North and the a South by way of promoting economic activities and it's obvious the increase in domestic flight to Tamale, let alone catering, transport and other businesses that will follow.

The analyst had really spoken of the reality that Ghanaians need to acknowledge.
I am aware that the Ashanti dominated tribal and political bigotry of primitivity that runs the NPP will not allow the need cooperation in this area of expectation to be achieved. The saddest thing is that Akuffo Addo would try to take a good line of basic cooperation as described by the analyst.
Naturally Akuffo Addo will never like his presidency to be a failure in Ghana's political records but the strong Ashanti force of primitivity and awkward behaviour in national matters dominating the minds of the executives of the NPP will surely be an hinderance to the expectation of many rational citizens of Ghana including the analyst.
