If the Transition Act says lodge our Handing Over Notes 30 days before the General Election what it means is that you cannot submit it after you have seen the Election results. This is to ensure that the Handing Notes reflect the true state of affairs. Also it means that any contracts or appointments you intend to make before the end of the year/administration will already be captured in the Handingover Notes. This is not difficult to do or appreciate. The inability to submit handing over notes on time should normally trigger a forensic audit

The NDC government is in office up to 07 January 2017. Employment of workers and the award on contracts are part of the work of a government. Does the NPP want the current government to stop working, fold its arms and still earn their salaries? If they do not continue working but take their salaries, the current government could be charged with WILFULLY CAUSING FINANCIAL LOSS TO THE STATE. We are no more in campaign mood so John Boadu of the NPP should stop displaying his ignorance. Where in the 1992 constitution does it say that between the conclusion of elections and the time of inauguration of a new president the current government should stop working? Fools. Think about how you will manage to fulfil your 'azaa' promise of building one factory in each of the 216 districts of Ghana, and one dam in every village in the three Northern Regions of Ghana.

Listen to yourself! What's your point? The only reasonable complaint that the NPP Transition could make at this point is on the perceived lateness of the submission of those Notes.
And regarding the contents therein, the NPP could only complain about them when the Notes are submitted, and the contents do not reflect what is legally expected of them.
But even so, it would not be the first time that might have happened. Records exist that the EO-Kosmos deal was not done by the time Mills was supposed to take over. It was way past the 30-day mark Boadu is citing as the deadline for the submission of such Notes, when George Owusu reportedly forged the signature of some absentee Kosmos Official to rush the completion of the documents. If it were in any Advanced or more honest country, that forgery alone would have killed the deal.
Now that your own pill has been shoved into your mouth, you complain. Huh?

How can anyone forget that NPP even sold government properties to themselves and rushed to sanction some contract deals when they going out of office. Ken Agyapong had a contract approved and signed, and some payments made when Kuffuo had to leave office the next day. The speaker of the house transported his bungalow furniture to Cape Coast. He was ordered to return them but failed to return all. They sold govt plots to themselves and when confronted after handing over, some of them went to court to defend the legality of sale of their booties. Georgina Wood was the only one who returned hers to the state. They burned down a whole ministry building to cover up what might incriminate them.
They all do this, which is unfortunate. If they have proof they can go to the police.

Even when they knew they had lost they were in their white garments telling their supporters and the whole world that they were winning and this was lead by a whole president and his vice. Meanwhile the EC was also trying to massage the figures in favor of Mahama. The International Observers had to put pressure on the president to concede defeat and the EC also to declare the results cuz they were putting the nation to ransom, now the NDC say wetin? Nana Addo said "The Battle was the Lord's" and surely "Is Still the Lord's cuz God Never Sleeps. The NPP learned from their loss in 2008 and from the Election Petition. If notes are to be prepared and handed over, 30 days before the elections and another notes covering the period, 30 days before elections up to the 6th of January will not be prepared and handed over, then it's a bad law. Does it mean the ministers and other government appointees have to prepare another notes to cover the period, spanning the 30 days before election to the date the new president is sworn in? Or does it mean those ministers will stop working, after handing over their notes (about 60 days before the new administration starts work)? A whole lot of "deeds", both good and bad, can be done within those 60 days.
And what does the law say about the award of contracts and the offer of employment within those 60 days? Employment and contacts in that period could, obviously, be suspicious but is it not also possible that they are genuine? Sometimes, these politicians (NPP/NDC) just say a whole lot of things to expose their own bad deeds.
If john buadu knows that some notes are being doctored, then it implies he saw the original notes or he has copies. At the appropriate time, he should turn in both copies ( the original and the doctored) so those involved in any wrong doing will be punished.
I wish the transition team will be given all the necessary support and the correct information to do its work. I wish there will not be any cover up. The team should be bold enough to point out out any wrong doing they uncover but also point out any exceptionally good thing(s) any minister or government appointee did to help the nation.

Nonsense! How do you know something has been doctored if you have not ever seen it?
If the NDC Administration has not submitted anything to you prior as the hand-over notes, how would you know what it intends presenting in the end is a doctored version? What then would NDC have doctored? It is one thing delaying the submission of those Notes, and another thing changing the contents of what might have already been given or shown to you. What kind of Logic is that? Because the submission of the Notes is late, means they are doctored? Akufo-Addo better not put such idiots as this guy in charge of any sensitive or vital National positions. Or, the mess would be worse than what he has been complaining with the out-going NDC Administration.
Why wouldn't John Boadu wait for the Notes to be submitted, and if he has any qualms with the contents, raise his concerns appropriately and pointedly? As it is, can Boadu even tell what is in each of the Notes that he has not seen yet?
This Boadu guy is one of the reasons I could not bring myself to support Akufo-Addo. He is full of stinky hot air. He has shown to be incompetent and bloody loudmouth with no gumption, especially, when he smudged Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong with his dimwitted attacks.
I wish someone would drag him to Court to teach him some lesson.
