But l know one thing that the original Dele Giwa l'm not sure if he is related to him, as much as l know Dele Giwa was one of the most powerful media personality and a sophisticated journalist of our time in Nigeria. But one afternoon someone pretending to be a mail carrier stopped by his gate and handed him a parcel according to the Nigerian Police and when he opened the parcel it detonated and killed him, so this Dele Momodu also knows what can befall him in his native Nigeria if he meddles in their politics. People should not be surprised at Gabby's puerile attitude of characterizing someone's pre-Election appeal for votes for Mahama as nauseating.

Knowing how disdainful the likes of Gabby are, stuffed with impermeable conceit and illusive sense of omniscience, as they always, insultingly, regard any dissent to their views as emanating from people with some moral deficiency or afflicted with innate stupidity, no one must be shocked by his behavior.

It is the Gabby-types in NPP who long tainted the Party with exceptional intolerance and bigotry. Their endless attempts to rewrite Ghana's History to sanitize the stupendous political errors of their past relatives are hues of the same color, so to speak.

Democracy that Gabby often grandstands to claim he and his cohorts are the staunchest advocates for has dissenting views and Electioneering contests as some of its core principles. Yet, to Gabby and his Uncle, Akufo-Addo, the President-Elect, anyone opposing them is an outright foe who, they wish, shouldn't even have ever lived.

What they ought to remember is that the victory of Akufo-Addo's, this time around, wasn't so much because of his successful persuasion of the Electorate that he is any much better than the people always thought of him as it was of Mahama's own deeper insensitivity to the cries of the hurting masses. Mahama's "Yentie obiara.." attitude broke the camel's back, while the country was awash in corruption, and sliding deeper into poverty.

If Mahama had shown just a little bit more caring to, say, promptly retrieve Woyome's stolen money, and other loots in SADA, SUBA etc., and left the allowances of Student Nurses and Teachers intact, Akufo-Addo would have suffered his third and final loss in our Electioneering history.

Just as Mahama has conceded his loss with some humility, Gabby and his clique must savor their win with some grace and humble gratitude to the People and the Lord, and wisely appeal to all Ghanaians to work with them to build a better country for all. If Gabby continues to insult those who voted against his uncle, he would be sowing the seed for difficulties ahead for any working consensus for a good governance.
