Exercise in futility.Getting 2/3 of members of Parliament members to approve a bill before the Special Prosecutor is appointed is a non-starter.

It's not the prosecutor but the sentences that matters. When people are given 2 or 3 years jail time for stealing millions of dollars from the state coffers, to me is a joke. In some countries people are shot to death for stealing tax payers money. A typical example is Singapore. Until we give stiffer punishment for stealing from the state, all this will be in vain. At least 20 yrs in jail should be the minimum. And serious ones like those of the outgoing ndc members should be life sentences.

This will not hold because npp them selves are going to parade unarmed robbers in their government. Already osafo marfo has been appointed to lead the transitional processes.

Very good one there . Hope the Ndc are listening to common sense. All these stomach politicians will no more wrangle for wealth but the dignity to self their nation. The Mahamanism of give and take from the tax payers money will die forever. It finally seems Npp is taking Ghana to its democratic destination. Sooner or later all these fund manics will deviate their stupid ambitions from politics to businesses that could be well surpervised by the state and create employments for our youth.
