Nana Akufo Addo and Dr. Bawumiah would have been the first people to condemn this innocent woman. We have always said that Nana Akufo Addo is a very violent man with behaviours uncharacteristic of a leader. The man is a CROOK.Now that the NPP had won, he is quiet and happy.President who accepted defeat and congratulated him has shown his unique character worthy of emulation by all.Nana Akufo Addo is a destructive element. In 2012, I can assure you that he knew he had lost the elections but he deliberately assembled hooligans at the OBRA spot near the Circle and embarked on a crusade of destroying government property and and the beating of innocent people. Even the pressmen who went there to cover the events were not spared.When he realised that the police and military were after him, he rushed to the Supreme Court to take cover and plunged Ghana into eight month of uncertainty.Here is the man who has now been elected the next president. Nana Akufo Addo should now look back and condemn himself as having been a traitor! We are keenly waiting for him to fulfil his numerous impossible promises. One district one factory. Charlotte Osei was supposed to do her job as Chair of the EC. In my view, she didn't do her job well. What was the purpose of the EC app they spent millions on? What is the use of the EC? Do they have to wait for someone to concede defeat before elections are verified? How about all the misinformed press statements the EC had about low voter turnout, and rigging of its website. Are they not embarrassed.

This is a non starter,she was paid to do what she did,even that we need some explanation on how they claimed their website was hacked,as to how that happened it needs to be investigated,we all knew how elections results had been handled in the past,just as they come in piecemeal its decleared as such but this time round the EC held on to the results and also to the public to ignore what was on joy tv because they were wrong,now EC has to come out and tell us what joy tv got wrong because we all now they got the results from the primary documents the pink sheets.Look what about her actions and conduct before the elections?she lost some cases that shouldn't ve gone to court in the first place,her refusal to compile a new voter register was taken for her behind the scenes by the NDC,this unholy behavior brought too much tension.She should be probe for coursing financial lost to the state,the district level elections and all the wrong legal decisions she took the EC through.This elections was like a boxing fight where the opposition won with technical knockout so how was the EC going to change things?but she herself was indicated she ll make a recount if the polls were close,so what is the bishop talking about?we re always quick to praise,her actions and pronouncements brought about the suspicions from most Ghanaians before the elections.

The 2:00am declaration by the NPP preempted any effort by the EC and the NDC from machinations and massaging of figures. Had it not been the vigilance of the NPP, she would have found a way for a run off and an ultimate win for John Mahama. Shame on her.

She should rather come out and thank her critics for making her realize that she is always not the most important and intelligent person in the room of electoral discourse. Madam Osei was "caged " by her critics to ensure a fair and credible election outcomes. Below are the facts:
1.She resisted calls to fix the bloated voters register? The Supreme Court made her to make some adjustments ( Ramadan/Nimako vs EC)
2. The Supreme Court made her fix flaws in CI 94. :
A. Pink sheet signatures by all stakeholders at polling stations
B. The administrative issues with disqualified presidential candidates to allow them to be on the ballot.
3. The opposition vigilance to fix any flaws in ballot paper printing and distribution of electoral materials.
4. And finally this big boom. The NPP was able to desmonstrate that we can determine 80% of voting results five hours after poll close and counting based on data from actual polling station pink sheets.
Madam Osei should rather learn from this experience and ask Mr. Anokye, the US NASA Information technology expert and his IT savy young talents to come help the EC establish such a system to call election results earlier. No need for expensive transmission system that can be hacked. The NPP data collection from polling centers system is simple and neutral as it is polling station and constituency dependent. The presidential tally must also be polling and constituency dependent and collated to regional and national tally. Any from of rigging can be easily isolated to a polling station and constituency and verified to the raw pink sheets by polling center and constituency to determine the facts for decision.
In our Fourth Republic democratic environment, it has been the critics of the EC that have pushed to perfect our electoral processes and systems . From clear ballot boxes to voters ID to biometric and the fixes of the laws that govern our elections like the current CI 94.
No, Mr Duncan Williams, Madam Charllote Osei does not deverve any apologies from her critics. She should rather thank them for helping her and the EC conduct a fair and credible election. If are asking for those who unjustifiably insulted he person then I can agree no one deserves insults. But her struggles with her job performance is in the public domain. She should has learned from her experience so far, be humble and perfect her game sustainably. Ghanaians have shown by the recent voting results that they are decerning and wiser. They can be patient and forgiving but will not suffer arrogance, mediocrity, corruption and lies from people elected or appointed to run their affairs.!

You see the npp had to block that move from happening, to do this they had to hack and breakdown EC network and hence NDC people can't get their false data to EC.

So Npp had enough time to compile their results on time and hence made a press conference remember NDC had made their own press conference earlier that Mahama wa leading.
The idea was to make Mahama the president regardless and if u don't agree u have to go to court.,

The media and Npp had the same results so NDC and EC were frozen out and had to concede defeat

Where did NDC got their results from?

Why were they jubilating even though they were loosing?

Why were they insisting that Mahama was winning ?

NPP won the 2012 election but EC changed the figures through an IT company, Npp went to court and they lost the case, the same thing was going to happen this year if not for the genus cyber war that NPP won.

The NPP won the election by divine intervention because God heard the cry of Ghanaians who were suffering under the demonic government led by John Mahama. I will like to suggest to the incoming administration to use laid down procedure to get her out and find someone with integrity to handle the Commission before the next election. I was glad when she was appointed because she is the first woman to hold that position but she failed from day one when she allowed NDC and John Mahama to dictate to her how to run the Commission. Again it was God and the vigilance of the NPP and the good and peace loving people of Ghana who thought John Mahama and his mafia that truth will always stand. Voting for CPP is no news because most Ghanaians know that you have never voted NPP and you will never vote for the NPP. NDC and CPP are bed follows. The only way it was prevented was through the vigilance of the opposition political parties especially the NPP.
Right from the word go, Charlotte Osei was greatly invested in the plans, schemes and actions of John Dramani Mahama and the NDC party to steal the true mandate of Ghanaians.
Indeed, the processes and procedures before, during and after the declaration of the results were all geared towards rigging the elections for the failed John Mahama who kept repeating he deserved a second term contrary to the will of Ghanaians.
Indeed, had it not be for the ingenuity of the NPP party and Ghanaians to police the ballot fully and totally with the help of all Ghanaians, sick and tired of a failed administration bent on rigging the elections, Charlotte Osei was on course to rig and steal the elections for the corrupt Mahama NDC gov't.
On December 7th, after she realized the game was up and the rigging ploy was not going to fly, she relented in her crass attempt to rig the elections.
Even when it was clear it was not going to work, the NDC party still tried and this is what Kofi Adams referred to as a "IT system failure".
Charlotte Osei does not deserve any apologies for consistently and persistently invested in the attempt to rig Ghana's elections for her benefactor, NO!!!.
She must rather apologize to Ghanaians for trying to pull that irresponsible and reckless nation-wrecking stunt, to steal the true mandate of Ghanaians for her benefactor and resign.

I'm convinced that it was the opposition vigilance that ensured the 2016 elections were not rigged in favour of the NDC. The attempted disqualification of the other candidates, the electronic transmission of the results and the redefinition of over voting are part of the rigging scheme to rig the election. Thankfully, God heard those of us who prayed for fairness in the elections. God through the Supreme Court ruling permitted some earlier disqualified candidates to part of the race. Their agents together with NPP agents monitored the elections and had copies of the election data at the poling stations and at the collation centers. This made results manipulation difficult for those who wanted to rig the elections. There was also divine disruption of electronic devices that had been put in place to manipulate the results. Now how can the Man of God I respect so much convince me that the EC chairperson had no knowledge of or involve in all the rigging scheme I've narrated above. I regret some people insulted Mrs. Charlotte Osei. The truth is that Madam Osei can not disentangle herself from these dangerous scheme to rig the elections. Long live Ghana.

I can humbly agree with Papa only to a point on his call on the critics of the EC's chairperson to apologise to her, but not entirely. My humble reason is, for what exactly must the critcts apologise? Is it for character assasination, or the persistent calls on her to set her priorities right in the execution of her mandated responsibilities which sometimes took the supreme court intervention to let her acede and reluctantly comply. Only after stakeholders raised concerns, had fallen of deaf ears and the alternate was to seek redress of her compliance to the constitutional Acts regulating her duty as required by law. Respectfully being a lawyer herself made it just needless and sometimes fraustrating that she had to be compelled before finally agreeing to do which by law, was the right thing to have been done in the first place.
Secondly i humbly presume the Papa might have been abreast with the many speculations pointing to the fact that there was something fishy going on between the EC and one of the key stakeholders in the just ended elections which was eventually going to determine the outcome of the final results in their favor, though alledged. The apprehension tthat the nation was put through due to the delay of declaring results which was already known by many as required by law and by dint of her position as returning officer, she was the official declarer of the winner though she later came with tangible explanations for that hold up, it still did not exonerate her completely hence the criticisms, so i ask is it for this, that Papa is asking to apologise?
But humbly i do agree with Papa if madam Charlote was unfairly and unduly criticized in the disposition of her duty towards her country in making sure that a credible election were held to have a credible results and finally declare a credible and eligible candidate as the ultimate winner acceptable by all players and the major stakeholders being the electorate and ghanaians for that matter, then i think she deserves an unconditional apology from all culprits, thanks. May Jehovah be praised and ghana be blessed.

Charlotte OSei did not do anything right, the courts had to force her to things right, why then should we commend her, let alone apologise to her.

In most election, the results are announced by the EC before the losing candidates concede. Mrs. EC had to wait for Mahama to concede before announcing the results, what then is her use?

The results of this election should teach her a big lesson to be fair in her dealings with all stakeholder in her job including the electorates and all political parties...who knows tomorrow?
