We have come to accept these seasonal violence acts as part of our political transition from NDC to NPP and vice versa. But NPP should not over do things. The electoral victory does not signify any long stay of NPP in power. Ghanaians simply wanted a change after being ruled by one party for 8 years just as they did in 2000 and 2008. The margins may be huge but that is due largely to frustrations faced by the electorate in the face of the difficult economic situation
which was partially due to global crises. The NPP were therefore
beneficiaries of a combination of factors. Any talk of using the massive victory to ignite patriotism is a laughable proposition because that word is not in their genes. Going by the names that are already being floated as possible appointees one can only hope and pray that the old Kuffour guards have not been given
another opportunity to come and complete their looting agenda with Nana Addo looking on. What can he do? The euphoria would soon settle and the reality would dawn on Ghanaians as the near impossible task of fulfilling the 170 sugar coated promises made to induce the electorates. Keep this date open. 17th April 2017. That would be 100 days of NPP rule and the first three promises of Nana Addo would be evaluated. restoration of teacher and nursing trainees allowance, refund of DKM customers and payment of outstanding debts of all contractors. Welcome to Ghana at 60 and good luck to His Excellency.

Correct your self Mr. Asante. Criminals have have taken over government and not "criminals have taken advantage". Why are you now so worried about the actions of your creations. These people were armed to take these actions after the elections. But you forgot to tell them that they should act only if you lose. And as robots they cannot differentiate between the two. So once the elections are over their actions begin. The police should not deal with them. Their arms are superior to that of the police, and they also have wives and children. Let them continue until such a time that we are all engulfed. Then you will know what "all die be die" really means.
