This year NPP chalked over 15,000 votes in Ketu North - where Dzameshi hails from. This shows that the tribal card can be broken at some point. Such statements breed ethnic hatred - and that is the last thing we need.
We can decide to go your way by succession but I tell you the Ga, Ewe and Gonja lands are likely to join forces. Their peace and safety will have an effect on Ashantima / Akan man and vice versa. It is not as if the Akan population is strongly united either - apart from the Fantes (and maybe Bono), Akyems, Kwahus, Guans and Akwapims desire independence from Ashanti hegemony.
My friend, the best way to go is what Nana Addo is saying. An all hands on deck approach to make Ghana great again. We voted against corruption and bad systems not against ethnic groups (as NDC wanted us to). NPP will shoot itself in the foot if it plays the ethnic/tribal card.
