If you arrest low fruit hungers like Adu but not Eric Opoku, B/A regional secretary and Collins Dauda, the minister for lands and mineral resource who are the powers behind these murderers then, you've done nothing. These two evils are the powers behind all the political killings and terrorism in Asutifi and Asunafu districts. They always use intimidations and killings to suppress voting to stay in power. You watch, the NDC hat wearing ORDER FROM THE ABOVE IGP will set these murders free by bullying the police commander in Goaso. Why do anybody in his right mind would patrol poling and registration centers with AK47s, bazookas and pump action guns during registration and elections? These are going on in Asutifi and Asunafo for a while with impunity because the two chief thugs have the approval of out incompetent president who will do anything legal or illegal just to win an election. He sits in a cabinet meetings with Collins Dauda and he's aware Dauda has empowered his brother and thugs to kill people just because they want to exercise their constitutional right to vote. The political killings in Sankore, Kukuom and Kwapong are not today. Mahamah knows very well the leader of these killing gangs is Eric Opoku but he keeps on appointing him as the regional minister for the region. Police found this murderer in his state sponsored hose in Accra about seven years ago but nothing happened. What make you thing they politically cowards police and their bias IGP would do anything about it this time around? Eric Opoku the regional minister cum the MP for the area is the head of security for the entire B/A; it would only take a call to the Goaso police commander to drop the case. Mahamah, the interior minister, the IGP won't do a damn thing about it because it suits him. The guys are fed up and ready to confront Eric Opoku, his gangs and Collins Dauda with his brother Naaba Abdulai with whatever weapon they can get. The police can't and will not protect them. They've to defend themselves with whatever weapons they can get. Naaba Abdulai, the brother of Collins Dauda, who is the leader of the thugs in Asutifi South manhandled the police commander at Hwidiem with impunity during the last registration exercise with impunity. His boys were disarmed to his dismay because Collins Dauda brother and his gangs had more powerful weapons than them. If the nation security, BNI and the bias IGP are not briefing the president of the insecurity in the area by his two minister then God help us. Nobody can tell me the president is not aware of the conduct of his two ministers. We have BNI and National security offices in Goaso and the ought to be briefing their bosses who have the ears of the president in Accra. How can a whole district police commander be terrorized by thugs without the IGP taking any action what so ever against the perpetrators? We're in the culture of political impunity terrorism; if you belong to the ruling party, you can do whatever you want with impunity. This is the world of our corrupt incompetent enabler president. He want to stay in power at all cost to serve as a verhicle for his relatives, friends, party members and his gang of th1eves to LOOT US WITH IMPUNITY. WE'RE SICK AND TIRED OF MAHAMAH's BORROW, INFLATE, CREATE, LOOT, SHARE and COVERUP cr1m1nal corrupt scheme.

It appears to me you have substantial information on this criminality but I'm not sure if this is factual. This brings to mind that we have a very LONG WAY TO GO as African States. My QUESTION to you is what should we do as a NATION in terms of righting the wrong? This goes not only to those in the helm of affairs but to the ordinary person like me and you too? We need to be part of the stakeholders in decision making process in some form or shape, we ALL have part to play! Long live GHANA !!!

The Ahafo side of the region is Asante and all of them owe allegiance to Asantehene. Even until today there are areas in the present Ashanti region which are ahafo e.g. Tepa, Mankranso etc. So the Ahafos are a section of Ashantis just like Atwima, Adansi, Sekyere, Ofinso etc. I however condemn the guy who sought to associate criminality with Asantes because one Akwasi Adu is allegedly involved in criminal act. Criminals could come from any tribe, race, religion or country.
