Why is the police so agitated about what technology can do?
Voting is done in secrecy, but is there any law that specifically bans people from taking a snap shop of their own ballot papers? We are in Ghana, where anything at all can happen. If there should be any challenge in the courts for wrongful declaration at any polling station, the courts are definitely going to ask for evidence, without which the case could be thrown out, and having the evidence on camera would have been helpful.
Even if there is a law against taking snapshots of ballot papers, why is the police so agitated by such proposition? Is there something the police know which we are not aware of? Banning the media is definitely out of reach now, but we must still be wary of the police!

Voting is meant to be secret, meaning after voting nobody is entitled to know how you voted. If cameras and modern smart phones and watches are banned from exam halls in the modern world, why should we encourage people to go with their phones to voting booths,when the law prescribes that no foreign material apart from ballot box should be carried to the voting booth? This muppet too want to rule Mama Ghana. Apuuu

There have been stories where presidential candidates have voted for themselves but results have been declared by the EC in this country, where it seems these presidential candidates did not even vote for themselves, eg Gen. Erskine.
It is an absolute must one captures his or her vote as evidence in an election where failed and losing Mahama is scheming with the EC to steal the mandate of the electorate.
Under no circumstances should anybody stand in your way in capturing that evidence. An eligible voter has earned that right and should you decide to capture evidence of your inalienable right that you have earned, by any means necessary capture the evidence.

I like Dr Nduom but this doesn't make sense because taking a picture of the ballot paper cannot tell you if someone truly voted for you. One persons picture can be shared among several people to show to you as evidence. How d ...
